About speaker

Tiia has been involved in Quality related activities in many different roles during the last three decades. She is Board Member of Estonian Association for Quality (EAQ) since 1993. Among ohter things, she has been responsible for the foreign relations of EAQ and is the leader of annual international management conferences of EAQ. She graduated as systems engineer (cum laude) from Tallinn University of Technology and is Master of Sciences (Eng). The thesis was dedicated to Performance Measurement in Quality Systems. Her PhD Studies at Tallinn University of Technology were focused on National Quality Promotion and Use of Excellence Models in Estonia. She is currently lecturing in Tallinn University of Technology and Estonian University of Applied Sciences, also acting as a trainer and consultant. She is a certified EFQM Trainer, Adviser and Assessor.
