12:35Film Editor Elísabet Ronaldsdóttir was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland. She graduated from the London Film School with honors in 1990; since then she has edited over 40 feature films, television programs, and documentaries, as well as an animated feature film. Her career has taken her all over the world, most frequently across Europe and North America.
Her award-winning editing work also includes active industry participation. She is a founding member and two-term inaugural chairwoman of Women in Film & Television Iceland (WIFT Iceland). Elísabet has sat on the board of the Icelandic Producer´s Guild, as well as served as chairwoman of The Icelandic Film & TV Academy in 2005 and 2006. Since 2007, Elísabet has been a board member of the prominent Filmmakers at Reykjavík International Film Festival (RIFF).
She is best known for her collaborations with film directors Baltasar Kormakur for JAR CITY, THE DEEP & CONTRABAND and David Leitch for JOHN WICK, ATOMIC BLONDE, DEADPOOL 2 and the upcoming film BULLET TRAIN. She recently partnered with director Destin Daniel Cretton on the Marvel film SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS.
