Kristiina Treial is one of the founders and content manager of the Bullying-Free School Foundation. Bullying Free School was founded 9 years ago with the mission to help Estonian schools become free from bullying. To this end, schools are supported by KiVa, one of the most recognized scientific and evidence-based programs in the world. At the moment, KiVa affects the school days of nearly 37,000 Estonian students.

Kristiina is in charge of substantive development and quality, research activities and international cooperation offered by the Foundation. She is a psychologist by education, has worked for 9 years in general education schools, a dozen years in teacher training at the University of Tartu and in recent years at Tallinn University, helping to prepare future school psychologists. Kristiina started bullying prevention 21 years ago, when she started working as a fresh school psychologist. She joined the KiVa program 10 years ago.
