Katrin has a background in psychology and pedagogy, as well as a communication expert, and has already proven herself in business for many years. For the past twelve years, she has been working as responsible business manager in one of Estonia's largest retail chains, Rimi. During these years, the importance of responsible business has grown significantly in Estonia, and Katrin has had the opportunity to share which values ​​and principles are most important to her employer on this journey. Under the leadership of Katrin, several sustainability projects have been initiated in Rimi, which have contributed to the fact that Rimi can be considered the most sustainable retail chain in Estonia. The latter is confirmed by several recognitions. In 2017, Rimi was chosen as the most responsible company, and the following year, Rimi was awarded the title of civil society entrepreneur of the year and received recognition from the Ministry of the Environment for its environmentally friendly initiatives. Above all, however, Katrin considers her greatest achievement to be the fact that she has been able to make a sustainable way of thinking a daily realityfor nearly three thousand Rimi employees.
