Kaarel Kuusk graduated from the UT Viljandi Culture Academy majoring as a jazz pianist (specialization in music technology) and obtained his master's degree in music and film sound technologies. By now, he has been an active musician for more than 15 years in all kinds of music fields and genres. Within one musical project Kaarel can simultaneously be a composer, arranger, notator, sound recorder, sound processor, musical designer, instructor, actor, musician and producer. He has been active in various bands playing progressive, minimalist, electronic, classical, improvisational, traditional, jazz, pop and dance music (e.g. Kali Briis, vonKuusk).
