Madis is the head of LHV Group, the largest domestic financial group, and was also awarded the title "Best Leader 2022" at the Pärnu Management Conference this year. His journey at LHV began 15 years ago as an intern, but since the fall of 2016, Toomsalu has been leading the entire rapidly growing bank group. At the beginning of 2020, at the initiative of LHV, the sustainable banking committee of the Estonian Bank Association was created, and in the spring of the same year, LHV introduced its green action plan, among which it was the first in Estonia to offer affordable green loans to customers. In addition, Madis is a member of the board of the NGO FinanceEstonia and the expert group of the government's green policy steering committee.
